Active Systems Loop

Kids:

Please feel free bring your kids. This is a family event for children of all ages. (Well, of all ages old enough to ride a bike.)

Parents will be responsible for the oversight of their own children.

If a large number of children are present we have been allowed to occupy the Active Systems Loop adjecent to Jefferson Circuit for the kids. The active systems loop is located at the south east corner of the Jefferson Circuit. (See Map)

This will provide the children their own smaller track to ride. This will be safer for the kids and riders on Jefferson Circuit.

Other Rides:

We are tentatively scheduling two extracurricular, more scenic, rides that begin & end at the park entrance. For those who need a break from circling the track and want to go out on the open road. These may or may not be feasible and may be a "game day" decision. We may only get to do one. Keep checking back for details.

Time Trials:

Informal Time Trialing we be held from 3-4. We'll have stop watches & clip boards to record your time, but try to bring your own cyclometer for comparison. Who can do the fastest 1.1 mile loop?

Activities up for discussion as future events are:

The possibilities at this park are endless. But we have to show the management there is a good reason to continue to open up their motorsports park to non-motorized vehicles like us cyclists.
