Saturday, May 2nd:
Team Integrity is still looking for help, we can use about 10-12 more bodies to help marshal the course and keep our participants safe. Please give me a ring if you have any questions or can help.
Here is a link to the USAC rulebook, see page 92 for info about the Individual Time Trial. Lots of detail.
I highly recommend you give it a shot! For first timers it is perfect, because you're just racing the clock and not in close with the other riders. Let me know if you decide to ride, and if you do, you can help out with setup and takedown. If you don't participate, then I can use you as a course marshal.
let me know about volunteering? maybe participating. nver been in a race of any kind. I liked what I saw at lasts years crit. I marshalled it. You might remember me. I kept that date open. How is this different than a crit? riders are close I presume or one gets didisqualified, right? how long is course? laps? etc?
Hello Bicycling Enthusiasts!!!
Team Integrity Cycling is holding another event in the near future, The 2015 Argyle Time Trial will be held on May 2nd. It is being held in Summit Point again, but on a slightly different course and start/finish setup. We had a great team of volunteers last year and we are looking to put on a great race again for 2015. Please check your calendars and get back to me ASAP. I need to know who I can count on to be there as volunteers so that I can make assignments. If you have any particular assignment requests, please let me know, and I'll do my best to consider them on a first come basis.
Your help is greatly appreciated. And remember, all volunteers will receive 1/2 price entry into a future Team Integrity event.
