Morning Canal Ride, Monday 7/27, 8 am. Meet at the large C&O parking lot across from Shepherdstown, we'll ride at a casual pace towards Snyder's Landing on the newly resurfaced section of towpath.  This will be a short ride, of 8 miles or less. Hope some of you can join Diana and I!

Jennifer, are you still leading daytime towpath rides?  I'm interested -- currently a C/D rider but i was a B level in the past and would like to work back up to it.  My phone number is 304-876-3755; cell is 304-676-6422.

Sorry for the short notice... I am going to do a canal ride this evening (Weds. July 8) if the weather cooperates.  I'll be riding from the Antietam Creek campground to Harpers Ferry and back (about 18 miles). I think it's a bit less muddy up that way. If anyone wants to join me let me know, I'm thinking about leaving at 5:30 or 6.

No towpath ride this week, it is too muddy! We'll try again next week.

I am on vacation for the summer and would like to get a regular weekday-morning towpath ride going.
The first ride will be this Wednesday, June 24th at 8:30 AM, meeting at the large C&O Canal parking lot under the railroad bridge across the river from Shepherdstown.  This will be a casual paced ride, and we will decide on the distance based upon rider interest and ability. We could have a couple groups going different distances if needed.

I rode on the canal Saturday and it was VERY muddy. I'm hoping it will dry up by Wednesday-- we will give it a try at least!

If you'd like to get in touch about the ride please email me at jbean876@hotmail.com or call 304-876-1804.  Hope to see you Wednesday if you are free!
